Human Trafficking is most simply defined as modern-day slavery. This is a problem that continues to grow despite local and national efforts to end it. I have sponsored a few events and have donated funds and raffles to non-profits to help stop human trafficking but at the end of the day, I always feel I can be doing more. I am one person, none of us can do it all. So, the search to figure out how to do more came to me. That’s where you come in…… Along with other aesthetic office owners, we are planning a large gala event in Raleigh to not only raise funds but also raise a huge amount of awareness. We believe that banning together a group of people in a unique industry can reach a larger audience. Thank you to those that have have already said yes and have joined on as sponsors! Blue Water Spa, BodyLase, Care Plastic Surgery, Jennifer Injectables, Lorena Luca, New Life Aesthetics, Synergy, Wake Plastic Surgery, Triangle Facial Plastic Surgery and Azura Skin Care Center.
Here is my ask and the basics:
I invite you to be a sponsor of the event which will cost your company $1500. Each aesthetic office will be asked for the same donation to the event. There are no tier levels of sponsorship.
The event will be held on the evening of March 12, 2020, at Union Station in Raleigh. If you would like to join us, please message us for more information about your sponshipship benefits. We ask that we have your committment by Feb 15th, 2020.
The proceeds raised will go to two local non-profits that work to improve the lives of those affected by human trafficking, to help those at risk and to build awareness on this issue. The two non-profits that have been chosen after interviewing and researching are Designed For Joy and Shield NC.
This event is about collaboration, we can do more together.
We are an industry that helps people understand their real beauty. We see people when they are weak and tired but we also see them at their happiest and most confident. We help men and women realize their worth, so they may not end up in a compromising position.
Together, we can make a bigger impact. It would be an honor to have you as a sponsor for this event and to help work out an issue that is happening in our backyard.
